One WeekYoga Retreat
A yoga retreat is a week with yoga making your body softer, stronger and more flexible. Your breathing will run more freely, calmer and deeper. You become more aware of your inner self and nature.
Everyone can participate - beginners and experienced practitioners. Those who do not practice Acem Meditation, will learn a breathing meditation technique.
A retreat will inspire you to be more regular in your daily practice at home, becoming more powerful and deepened in your exercises.
The daily programme is altenating between yoga, optional bathing/swimming, bicycling or paddeling, and strolls in the beatiful surrounding landscape, as well as enjoying meals with delicious lacto-vegetarian meals.
To do yoga is to train your free mental attitude by working with breath, bodily movement and bodily awareness. The breathing is the most vital part of the emotional expressions of your body. A free-flowing breathing during your yoga movements are like applying a free mental attitude to the repetition of your method sound in Acem meditation. You teach yourself not to be forced by inner "achievement ghosts", not to strive were you need not strive.
Yoga is a way of exploring and training your human attitudes and your compassion, through a direct encounter with the way you treat your own body.
Yoga is about becoming more flexible, lighter and happier. It provides you with relaxation and deepening similar to a meditation practice. You come closer to yourself, and your body, mind and strengths are coming more in harmony with each other.
We recommend you buy and bring the book Meditative Yoga - integrating body, breath and mind - or you can buy it at the course.

The retreat finishes at 14.00 the last day (leaving your rooms at 12.00).
